Lets face it, it can take a while to get here, but when you do, you'll enjoy unique experiences on one of Australias most remote coastlines.
Long white sand beaches without a footprint and clear, turquoise waters abundant with whales, seals and dolphins will delight the traveller in search of pristine nature.
CRYSTAL CLEAR OCEAN
Esperance is an outdoors kid of a place. In summer you can enjoy a country race meeting or the Festival of the Wind in March. But mostly Esperance is about water snorkelling, scuba diving, boating, surfing or just plain swimming.
The Southern Ocean is a glory of soft corals, invertebrates of every colour and a rich variety of spectacular fish.
Visitors can experience this magnificent underwater world by glass bottomed boat at Woody Island, or in guided snorkelling or scuba diving tours. There are also many fishing charters available.
PRISTINE AND UNTOUCHED
The region boasts two major National Parks, Cape Le Grande and Cape Arid, both home to magnificent beaches and spectacular walking.
Between the two lies Duke of Orleans Bay. Fishing and diving charters operate from this most isolated and romantic of shorelines.
The Recherche Archipelego, pristine and untouched, is a group of 150 tiny islands home to seals and seabirds. The archipelego is one of Australias most spectacular seascapes and noted for its remarkable marine diversity.
WORLD RENOWNED BIODIVERSITY
The Fitzgerald River National Park, a world-renowned biodiversity hotspot, is between Albany and Esperance.
